First time playing Bingo!

Jan 1
I went to the temple with my grandmother to pay respect to Buddha and cerebrate with the Thai community. After that I went to the mall with my friends because Dillard is having a New year sale, the mall was a mess > . > it like black Friday all over again but I guess that part of holiday fun. I didn't get anything just walk around the whole place, but at least it was fun to have  a friend to walk and talk. I haven't have a casual hang out in a very long time.

Jan 2
The next days I went the the bank with my grandmother and get gas since gas is really cheap lately then in the evening I when to see my first "real" tennis game (since I only ever watch the my high school team play and most of us dont know what we're doing.

Got a game ball xD  now just need him to sign  it case he ever become famous. The match was interesting I was very interested by the etiquette and court manner. I learn many thing that they do differently here.

- Warm up is routine and people know what they are doing
- player don't yell when the ball is out or whatever is wrong they give a simple hand gesture
- friendly (low) hi five to your team mate on a good hit
-audience can't walk around when the game is playing
- if they did walk the player signal to wait until the people passes
-move the score stand over when switch side, save time

I think  it very efficient, polite an very professional we should do that in our team too.

The bad part is that my friend got a cramp in his leg half way through luckily still won, but it was a double match so he have a friend to help out.

Then we when to bingo. I never knew that was so many way to play bingo.
It was very thrilling especially when we come close to wining. Unfortunately we didn't win any but it was still fun and a new experience. I kind of want to come try again xD

New Year Eve

New year eve I went to dim sum with my family in the morning then I went to 16th street with my friend to see the firework, we realize that they is a curfew law so we couldn't be there for the actual countdown, but luckily there a family one at 9 pm.  We when ice skating, which is one of my favorite activity especially when the ice is new and smooth it the best feeling in the world xD when the weather is freezing cold (sorry granny I should have believe you and wear more jacket T - T )
The firework weren't spectacular but it was still fun. Then we when to Sushi place call Blue Sushi Sake Grill the food was great but end up staying over 11pm but oh well no cop bust in ._.

New Year: New experience

Last year was a very rough year, I feel like everything is breaking so this year I'm trying to pull my self together and try to enjoy the moments and get back on my feet again. I stumble upon a blog talking about why each year feel shorter and shorter. this simple answer is that is the effect of growing up.When you were younger the a lot of new thing to experience, everything seem new, that why kids always so excited about school and thing. Don't get me wrong I think I'm still pretty young but I am very shielded so I don't feel like I experience enough of the world yet. Which is great because they still plenty of thing to explore and enjoy. research also show that those who feel time rich are happier.

This year my resolution are:

  1.  Live in the moment - worry less about the past and future, you cant fix it and you can't change what happen.
  2. Try new things - don't be afraid to be a risk taker (I am extremely shy so I want to come out of my shell more.)
  3. Don't make mountain out of a mole hill - when i do something wrong i become paranoid very quickly and make thing worst than they are, so I want to be more calm and be more rational and figure thing out reasonably. if thing really is bad figure out how to fix it.
  4. Stress management -  Thing get harder as you go but got to find better way to deal with this.
  5. Make more friends - I'm really shy and don't have to many friend so I want to expand my network.
  6. New style - I take a liking in the classy, Europe chic style and really want to learn more about dressing up and what look good. I thing it could come in handy for social gathering. Also love vintage Asian fashion.
Those are the main think I could think of right now (well there are thing like losing weight, betetr grade, sleep early but those are kindda hard T- T and maybe get part time job over the summer and scholarship hunt).
